The API Bureau can meet at any time in case of need. The Council is subsequently informed of initiatives and steps that may eventually be taken.
The bureau consists of the API President (a European journalist, non Belgian, elected by the General assembly for a two years mandate) two vice-presidents, a treasurer and a Secretary general.
